1. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the correctness of the booked date, time, pick-up location, drop-off location, and type of wedding taxi required for their service.
  2. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
  3. Deposits are non-refundable.
  4. Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, but if there should be a breakdown, an unavoidable traffic delay, or if the vehicle is involved in an accident, we reserve the right to send an alternative vehicle, after consultation with the hirer.
  5. Hire of our Black Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi or Ivory Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi is on the understanding that this is for a period of a minimum of three hours within central London & outside of central London. Additional time, as arranged with the customer will be charged at the hourly rate in effect at the time of booking or if time slot overruns on the day this will be charged at an hourly rate which will be collected by the driver at the end of the service.
  6. For hire of our Black Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi or Ivory Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi, a 50% deposit will be paid no later than 28 days prior to wedding & final balance paid on day of service. This can be paid via cash or cheque &cheques are made payable to MR T.R.Smith.
  7. Any changes or cancellations to our Black Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi or Ivory Traditional Fairway Wedding Taxi bookings are subject to 7 days notification. Failure to adhere to the 7 days notification will result in any subsequent changes being refused. Any payment already taken will not be refunded.
  8. Extra charges may apply for areas outside the M25. These charges will be quoted and agreed with the customer at the time of booking.
  9. A copy of terms & conditions will be sent after booking has been confirmed, that will need to be signed & dated by customer to confirm & accept hire terms.
  10. All bookings or queries must be made via telephone or email.
  11. Every effort will be made by the Company to ensure that the taxi will arrive on time and reach destinations on time. The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any delays (and/or arising consequential losses) that occur beyond its control.
  12. The driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the customer.
  13. Our taxis are fully insured for passenger and third party claims under British Law, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and “Smith and Sons Wedding Cab” shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
  14. The Company and its drivers have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the driver, the vehicle or any other passengers.
  15. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the client’s’ statutory rights.
  16. Proceeding with a booking ( by email or by telephone) infers that the customer has read and agreed to these “Terms and Conditions”.
